I am working my way through Mr. K's pics, but I had to share this one! I mean, how cute is he? He is such a big guy, chatting me up the whole session...and he is only TWO! Just so grown up! Everything was "O-tay" (ok) Love it! :-)

I had a great time shooting these guys' wedding. They are so cute together! I wanted to give Jessica a quick preview of some of my favs. Such a good looking couple! It's a bit intimidating shooting the wedding of a Photography Major! Hope you guys had a great honeymoon!

Huntsville minis

Well, this month has been and will be NUTS for me, but I wanted just to give a quick update. I have been swamped with regular portrait sessions, three weddings and I had my first group of mini-sessions. I went to Hunstville for a day and half, packed with 20 minis! Whew! I had the BEST host. Thanks a million, Susan. It was so nice to meet everyone. Just wanted to share a few.

Literally! He is a good friend's little man and it was so good to see him again! Mom and Dad drove through on the way to Selma so that I could grab some shots of their cutie pie. He is just a joy! Those eyes kill me! I can't wait to see you again soon Mr. J!

These guys were so great to work with! When Miss C first got out of the car, I asked her if she was ready for her "supermodel shoot." She told me that actually she is a model! Wow! I can see why! Her little brother was too cute. Little football player for sure! You could easily see the bond between them.

With the Month of October being recognized as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, The Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation holds its Annual Fund Drive for six weeks starting in mid-September and ending in October.

President Ronald Reagan enacted Proclamation 5890 in October of 1988 to recognize that each year, approximately a million pregnancies in the United States alone end in miscarriage, stillbirth, or the death of a newborn child. Reagan stated, "A national observance offers us the opportunity to increase our understanding of the great tragedy involved in the deaths of unborn or newborn babies. It also enables us to consider how, as individuals and communities, we can meet the needs of bereaved parents and family members... "

If you are in a place to make even a small contribution to NILMDTS, please know that doing so will continue to allow the organization to provide improved resources, training, communication, and other tools necessary in support of our amazing contingent of professional photographers who provide the gift of free remembrance portraiture to families in need.

Our next project we are working on is an online, interactive webinar version of our Formal NILMDTS Training taught by Co-Founder Sandy Puc' allowing anyone in any country with access to a computer to complete the course online. Donations help make programs like this a reality!
