Well, the holidays are officially over now. I can finally catch my breath! I have obviously slacked in the blogging arena, so here is a sampling of some the my most recent sessions. Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year. A huge THANK YOU to all my wonderful clients. It was fantastic meeting and working with you! Blessings to all in 2009!
Ok, so I am not a professor, but I will be teaching a wedding and bridal photography class at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens in January. The newly established Southern Institute of Photography is starting their first session of classes the beginning of next year. There quite a few other classes offered if wedding photography isn't your thing. The school's website isn't quite up yet, but I will post a link to the gardens site with contact information. Check it out!
I cannot tell you what an honor it was to photograph this family! They flew all the way from Chicago so I could take their pics, ok well, they do have family and friends here...but I am so flattered that they rearranged their schedule so we could make it happen! Such a great family! Makes me hope that my boys will grow up to be as such wonderful teens as these guys! Thanks for zipping down to Bama and I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!
Boy, was this wedding FUN! These guys know how to dance! Five year olds to eighty year olds out on the dance floor! Such a beautiful couple with great family and friends. The ceremony was at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and reception at The Country Club of Birmingham. Everyone cheered when Joe dipped Kathryn for the kiss! Knowing how to laugh together is such a great asset for a marriage. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day. All the best!
I got to spend the afternoon at Vulcan with Jamie and Bill. I will have the pleasure of photographing their beach wedding this May. Such a cute couple! It got a little chilly by the end of the shoot, but they were troopers! We even got a shot on the bench where he proposed! It had been a long time since I had been to the top of Vulcan, man is it high! Congrats guys and looking forward to the big day!
I had fun with these two guys! Mr. L is the sweetest baby with the best temperament. He even put up with us sticking him in a big bucket! Mr. R is a great big brother and I know these two will be the best of friends in the years to come
I have known Miss "A" since before she was born, and MY has she grown into a beautiful little girl! The prettiest eyes I have ever seen. A sweet little girl with great parents! I love that bright red Christmassy dress. Makes me wish I had a girl. At least I can live vicariously through my clients!
I am a photographer working in the Birmingham area. I live in Trussville with my husband and two young sons. What can I say? I absolutely LOVE photography and being able to share it with others makes me happy!
